The Knightswood livery service offers excellent stabling with comprehensive care of your horse. The light and airy stables are made from traditional wood, offering a solid and safe environment
All of our stables are equipped with full height wooden kick-boards, large stable doors covered by overhang, automatic waterers, and corner feed mangers. The well insulated stables overlook each other for horses to see their field mates and stabling companions, contributing to a less stressful lifestyle and promoting the health and happiness of all of our residents.
We provide all year turn out in safe and enclosed paddocks, with natural Cornish hedges, wooden post and rail, and equine friendly electric fencing. All of our paddocks contain natural sheltering and automatic water troughs. We offer Part and Full livery packages as briefly outlined below:
Part Livery
This option is ideal for those who require assistance during the weekdays due to work commitments. We carry out the necessary stable management Monday to Friday to include:-
- Muck out and skip out
- Straw bedding
- Hay
- Feed (to be provided by owner)
- Turn out/catch in
- Rug changing as appropriate (as stated by owner)
- Grooming; brush off daily
Full Livery
This is an ideal solution for busy horse owners who require their horses completely looked after 7 days a week. It includes all of the part livery but Monday to Sunday including the following:
- Grooming; brush off daily plus full groom twice a week
- Supervision for vet and farrier visits
The following services can be arranged on request:
- Yard Farrier
- Dentist
- Clipping
- Mane, Tail Pulling & Trimming
All horses are to be wormed at the same time on the same worming program, Equest. The cost of this along with treatment charges, shoeing and/or veterinary sundries, will be added to your monthly bill in arrears.
All invoices will be payable on a calendar month basis in advance, by standing order on the 1st of every month.
